This is all kinds of great. Except for the sausage-party aspect. But still pretty great.

Happy to be quoted in this round-up, thanks! (I want to be able to clean a room just by looking at it) ==Raging feminists share their desired superpowers with us http://t.co/H7569nb2Kj via @sheknows

Writing is Fun
In addition to the 5,110 words I wrote on my novel today, I also wrote a poem inspired by President Obama’s appearance on Marc Maron’s podcast:
Lame Ducks
Give No F*cks
Gaslighting
An important distinction from a blog that isn’t mine: http://robochai.tumblr.com/post/120589219979/i-thought-that-this-might-be-helpful-to-talk
No More Azalea
So we’ve had this azalea as hideous as it is huge in our backyard and it was mostly dead but I never did anything with it because it looked like it would take a backhoe to get it the eff out of the ground. Yesterday I told my coworker Cheryl about it and she said, “those are easy to dig up, no problem.” This morning I went out there and dug it up, with an assist from the 9-year old who did some pruning and brought me 17 cups of water and viola! I dug it out of the ground and got it to the tree lawn and now I feel happy and powerful and one step closer to having a backyard we might actually be able to enjoy! Thanks Cheryl for your words of wisdom!

Selective Hearing
THANKFUL!!!! BK (youngest son) passed his hearing exam with flying colors! I was really sweating it b/c he failed a hearing screen in both ears last week at his pediatrician’s office. Thank you, Cleveland Hearing & Speech Centerfor your kind & kid-friendly audiology examination of my “chatterbox” 6-year-old!
