I plucked “Midnight's Children” from our bookcase the other night and have started reading it. So far I'm on page 40 and it's funny and really wordy. I'm of the opinion that the country of India is pretty much an ess-hole so I'm wondering if reading this novel might change my mind. I shall keep you posted!
